The naked photos of Piret and Lenna brought nearly half of the sum of all auctions from Osta.ee. The final price for the first picture was 34500 EEK, the second 20500 EEK.
"I wouldn't think that it could bring such amounts" says Piret. "The most important was that it could arouse attention on the topic of AIDS and tolerance, which also was one of the main ideas of the exhibition. But it is finally great that thanks to our participation the organizers got such large sum for AIDS prevention" thinks Piret, after whose words both Piret and Lenna are satisfied with their presented experiences.
Piret doesn't get any special fears from the fact that the pictures are now in the hands of a stranger.
"I hope that they hang on the wall. I believe that there is nothing really inadequate to see in these pictures or like with pornographic things. This is also no reason to imagine who got the pictures and what they intend for."
Piret believes that one will regard the pictures still gladly in ten years, because the whole thing was with a purpose connected with beautiful pictures. For Galetin to pose naked doesn't mean the members of the Vanilla Ninja to actively begin.
"In each case important was the idea and the goal of this thing. In the case of the Galetin's project both were present and therefore, I have consented to participate. To pose naked for men magazines I have always refused, because the purpose is missing" says Piret. She is really pleased that the action of Galetin found an echo in the media.
"Everything connected with the Ninjas, naturally attracts interest in the media and it is natural beauty that we could use for this good purpose" she explained.
...Our concert at Panoraam was cool and nice Ninja party which included all 25-35 aged dudes and chicks in front of the stage who were not shy to sing and rock with us. It was very fun.
We changed gifts again - elements which can be put on the wall were exchanged (we made a beautiful big black-and-white picture of VN from our earlier photoshoot for Andres and Aleksander too and they gave us also a big VN poster with writing which was connected with the gift)
We got on stage yet about 01:45, but it's not late for us - in Chile we had all the shows in that time or even later, because the festival took place at night. And also when we toured around in Estonia in 2003 some of our concerts were about 1AM or later (for example in club Hollywood or some pub in South-Estonia).
We performed a bit over 1 hour up-tempo programme yesterday, which included all of our hits and as a new number we sang "Vanad teksad ja kitarr" too. In Estonian of course the crowd loved it.
We didn't see any younger people, but we can't say there wasn't anyone who came with their parents, because the little fans had asked about the show from the organizers from Radio Uuno and probably they were let in then too
But we are very pleased with it and we are so waiting for the June tour! The warm-up performer or coperformer hasn't been sorted out yet, we hope for the best!

Who are Vanilla Ninja?
Le Vanilla Ninja sono 3 ragazze estoni hanno raggiunto un grande successo nelle chart di un bel numero di stati in tutta Europa, specialmente in Germania e Austria. Il gruppo fu formato nel 2002 e l'anno seguente uscì il loro omonimo album di debutto, contente per la maggior parte canzoni in inglese e 4 in estone (Nagu Rockstaar, Purunematu, Klubikuningad e Vanad Teksad ja Kitarr). Dal 2003, quando uscì il loro singolo di debutto Club Kung Fu, subito i seguenti singoli diventarono hits nell'Europa Centrale, inclusi Tough Enough, When the Indians Cry, dal loro secondo album Traces Of Sadness; Blue Tattoo e I Know dal loro terzo album Blue Tattoo. Inoltre sono entrate nelle selezioni nazionali per l'Eurovision Song Contest due volte, fallendo la prima volta ma riscuotendo successo successivamente in Svizzera con la canzone Cool Vibes. Il gruppo in seguito finì ottavo nella finale dell'Eurovision Song Contest, nonostante l'eccellente successo. Le Vanilla Ninja sono famosissime nel loro paese, l' Estonia e hanno rappresentato la marca di un gelato ed uno snack (Hohuke) chiamato con il loro nome, prodotto esclusivamente nel loro paese. Il gruppo ha fatto uscire 5 album in vari paesi dell'Europa; Vanilla Ninja uscì nel 2003, Traces Of Sadness nel 2004, Blue Tattoo e Best Of, più le limited edition di Traces Of Sadness e Blue Tattoo nel 2005, Love Is War, nel maggio 2006. Originariamente la band era formata da 4 membri: Maarja Kivi al basso e voce, Lenna Kuurmaa e Piret Järvis alla chitarra e voce, alla tastiera e coro. Maarja Kivi lasciò il gruppo nel 2004 e fu sostituita da Triinu Kivilaan. Nel Dicembre del 2005 anche Triinu lasciò il gruppo per cominciare una carriera da solista e finire la scuola e così la band decise di continuare la loro carriera in 3. Ma le Vanilla Ninja hanno anche una crescente quantità di fan in altri paesi dell'Europa come in Italia, Giappone, U.S.A, U.K e Australia.
